When to use PCM instead of gel packs?
When you must strictly stay between 2-8°C (vaccines, insulin, biologicals). Gel packs can drop below 0°C and damage products. PCM stays at the target temperature.
What temperature ranges?
Standard 2-8°C (refrigerated pharma) and 15-25°C (controlled room temperature). Other ranges available on request.
How long does a PCM pack last?
Depending on insulation and outside temperature, 48-120 hours. We conduct validation tests for your specific setup.
Pre-conditioning?
Yes, in a specialized refrigerator at the correct temperature (not freezer). We provide manuals with every shipment.
